We
are searching for a proactive Vice President of Strategic Development to drive
their business line forward and lead the commercial strategy in Colombia.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategic sales and marketing
initiatives to penetrate and grow within the mining industry, including
both surface and underground mining sectors. - Build and maintain critical relationships within the
oil and gas industry and related sectors such as heavy fabrication,
welding, high-precision machining, and surface engineering, with a strong
focus on the mining industry. - Lead complex negotiations and high-value business
expansion projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s broader
goals. - Guide the development and optimization of the sales and
marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous
improvement. - Utilize bilingual skills (Spanish/English) to
effectively communicate and negotiate across different cultural
environments. - Leverage marketing tools, advertising channels, and
brand positioning techniques to enhance market presence and visibility.

- Proven leadership experience in sales and marketing,
preferably within the mining industry or similar industrial engineering
fields. - A successful track record in handling complex
negotiations and driving business growth initiatives. - Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

international travel. - Demonstrated strategic thinking, evidenced by a history
of breaking into new markets and industries.
