Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct drilling, blasting, remote mucking, and bolting operations.
- Calculate and place explosives
- Execute pre-shift safety inspections for all machinery prior to use.
- Record shift data using the operator app during your shift.
- Monitor, manage, and forecast inventory levels.
- Safely handle and transport explosives.
- Complete routine maintenance on mining equipment.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of working experience in underground hard rock mining.
- Proficient in operation of bolters, jumbos, and jack legs.
- Expert experience with Sandvik DS411 is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to assist in training other team members on equipment operation.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including both day and night shifts.
