Tax Manager

Requirements

• Utilitizing client input and data, firm-specific software, and industry knowledge to produce accurate tax-related documents
  
• Performing research projects to alleviate issues rising from client work
  
• Review of all personal, corporate, partnership, trust, estate and gift tax returns
  
• Maintaining and creating a book of business and managing client relationships
• Coordinating and completing complex tax returns 
  
• Creating and building client relationships and maintain those records in the areas of bookkeeping, sales taxes, payroll taxes and other tax-related filings
  
• Leading support team and other associates
  
• Performing other duties as assigned or required
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  
• CPA required
  
• Minimum of 7+ years prior experience
  
• Minimal local travel
  
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during busy season
  

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft, QuickBooks, and other firm software
  
• Self-starter with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with deadline constraints
  
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  
• Ability to manage projects and train staff
  
• Dedication to superior client service
  
• Involvement in marketing activities
