This firm provides tax planning, real estate planning, entertainment and business management, auditing and business advisory services to their multitude of California – based clients. This firm is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager – Real Estate to their team!
This role would ideally be hybrid, but can be remote to California residents only.
The Tax Manager will need to specialize in Commercial Real Estate and have extensive knowledge of California tax law.
They will be primarily responsible for:
- Preparing complex returns (163J, Target Allocations, 1031X, 754 Step Ups)
- Tax Research and Studies
- Building and Maintaining Relationships with Clients
- Training Staff and Senior Associates
Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA
- 7-10 years' real estate experience working in a mid-sized Public Accounting firm (Big Four preferrably)
- Extensive knowledge of California Tax Law
- Extreme attention to detail
