A firm in Brentwood, California is offering a great opportunity for a Tax Manager to join their team! This firm has over 35 years of experience providing full-service accounting and tax preparation services to their clients.
This role will begin on-site, with the potential to work on a hybrid basis.
The Tax Manager is responsible for:
- reviewing and preparing Corporate, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax returns
- building and maintaining relationships with clients
- managing and coordinating tax audits, provisions and tax compliance processes
- implementing best practices
Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Master's in Taxation – preferred but not required
- CPA – preferred, but not required
- 5 years of Public Accounting experience
- Technical tax review knowledge and preparation skills
- Tax Audit representation is a plus
- Experience with Lacerte software
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
