Our partner in the luxury home building space is actively seeking a Superintendent for Ground Up Single Family Homes in the Martin County and North Palm areas of Florida. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, hard-working, proactive, friendly and willing to learn and grow with the business in a high-paced environment.
Daily responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operational projects in a supervisory role
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and budgets
- Supervise and communicating effectively with third-party subcontractors and vendors
- Keep a daily work log of any incidents
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost-tracking reports
- Prepare contracts and negotiate change orders with subcontractors
- Establish goals and set expectations and deadlines with construction workers
- Focus on process and operational consistency to reduce cost and improve performance
Requirements
- Must be organized, hard-working, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 10+ years of Project management experience skills and experience
- Working knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to manage diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Speaks Spanish semi fluent or fluent is preferred
