The
Structural Engineer is responsible for analyzing designs for residential,
multi-family, retail, and light commercial structures. You will also be
responsible for budgeting, controlling costs, and scheduling projects as well
as creating structural design drawings, calculations, and details. As an
integral part of the engineering team, you will have the opportunity to
collaborate with other engineers, contractors, fabricators, and government
agencies.
This
position is a hybrid role with the potential to be fully remote.
Requirements
- Active EIT certification in Texas
- Must have understanding of American Institute of Steel Construction
(AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American
Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Codes
(IBC) - Must have understanding of local building codes/requirements
- Must have experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting
programs - Must know industry standard building design software (RAM Structural
Systems, Concept, RAM Elements, etc.) - Must be able to travel
