Staff Accountant (Mining/ Industrial Environment / IFRS / English / Dominican Republic )

• Ensure that the company's financial reporting complies with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and stays updated with any changes in IFRS regulations.
  
• Collaborate with the tax department to manage tax compliance, including the preparation and review of tax returns and assisting with tax planning.
  
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction, cost control, and efficiency improvements within the organization
  
• Support internal and external audit processes, maintain audit schedules, and resolve any audit issues.
  

Requirements

• Advanced English language skills are essential for effective communication within an international organization.
  
• Expert knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  
• Experience in the mining or heavy industries sector is preferred, with a strong understanding of costing and fiscal responsibilities.
  
• Previous experience with both internal and external auditing.
  
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
