GateSource HR is looking for a Service Engineer to join an industry-leading company in the industrial machinery sector. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong CNC/PLC programming skills, machine calibration expertise, and problem-solving abilities. You will be responsible for machine installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training, ensuring high-performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Maintenance (50%)
Provide advanced technical support and diagnostics for industrial equipment.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain high efficiency.
Ensure effective customer communication and document service interventions.
- Machine Installations & Calibration (10%)
Lead and support machine commissioning, calibration, and process optimization.
Ensure seamless customer acceptance and operational efficiency.
- Training & Aftersales Support (10%)
Conduct technical training for customer teams on system functionality.
Assist in preparing Aftersales service offerings based on customer needs.
- Compliance & Reporting (15%)
Adhere to health, safety, and operational procedures.
Generate detailed service reports and share insights on market trends.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement (15%)
Identify opportunities for product enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Share knowledge and mentor junior technicians and engineers.
Requirements
- Education: Engineering Degree or strong technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.
- Technical Skills: Experience in PLC/CNC programming, machine optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Languages: Good command of English and German
- Soft Skills: Proactive, analytical thinker, and customer-focused.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for installations and customer support.
