Senior Tax Accountant

Requirements

• Reviewing individual returns, bookkeeping projects, payroll and sales taxes prepared by tax associates and interns
  
• Utilitizing client input and data, firm-specific software, and industry knowledge to produce accurate tax-related documents
  
• Coordinating and completing individual, business and fiduciary tax returns with minimal supervision
  
• Create and build client relationships and maintain those records in the areas of bookkeeping, sales taxes, payroll taxes and other tax-related filings
  
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  
• CPA required
  
• Minimum 5+ years of prior experience
  
• Minimal local travel
  
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and extended hours during peak busy seasons
  

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft, QuickBooks, and other firm software
  
• Self-starter with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with deadline constraints
  
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  
• Ability to manage projects and train staff
