This company is looking for a Senior Property Manager to oversee the operations of a new acquisition in downtown Chicago – this position is on-site.
The responsibilities of the Senior Property Manager include:
- Managing the daily operations of a large luxury high-rise apartment community
- Overseeing each department and coordinating with department heads
- Taking charge of business plans and initiatives for the community
- Maintaining high occupancy levels and maximizing income
- Developing marketing strategies and analyzing market surveys
- Managing the budgeting and finances for the community
- Leading team meetings and providing mentorship/training to team members
- Coordinating with vendors and maintenance to ensure units are well-kept and maintained
- Regular property inspection
- Implementing all policies, standards and procedures among team
Requirements
The requirements of the Senior Property Manager include:
- High school education or equivalent required – Bachelor's or Master's preferred
- CPM, CAM, RMP, CMCA or CMCP preferred
- Minimum of 3 years managing residential properties in downtown Chicago required; 5+ years preferred
- Minimum of 2 years at 400+ unit community or mixed-use community preferred
- Experience with Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, etc.
- Experience with budgeting and financial processes
- Strong sales and marketing background
- Knowledge of state law as it relates to fair housing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Administrative and organizational skills
