Project Accountant to join a premier commercial real estate development and design-build firm's finance team. The Senior Project Accountant will
play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our development projects,
ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability. This position offers an

Responsibilities:
- Manage project accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multiple development projects
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external partners to monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and project performance reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in project accounting or real estate finance, preferably in a commercial real estate development environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles, cost accounting, and financial analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Yardi or MRI is a plus)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction accounting and familiarity with real estate development processes is advantageous
