About the Position:
GateSource is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Austin, TX. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. This is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 in-office days, so the ideal candidate will be able to travel to Austin each week.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Assist with the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Support the Controller with ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ Years of Accounting Experience, with 1 year of experience in the Software/Tech industry
- CPA Preferred
- NetSuite or Intacct ERP Experience
- Strong MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
- Strong Understanding of ASC 606 Standards
