Are you an experienced Security professional with a Paramedic/ first responder background looking for a facility management position? GateSource HR is partnering with a top-tier company within the Mining Industry to find a skilled medical professional join their Michigan team. Our partner is seeking and action-oriented individual that can collaborate with management and outside medical teams to ensure the safety and medical health of all employees onsite on a daily basis.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Control site access and perform daily perimeter patrols
- Assess and proactively identify security risks and create response plans
- Conduct daily and weekly reports detailing equipment, grounds, and facilities
- Review fire systems and monitor surveillance footage
- Create and execute fire response with designated teams for fire suppression
- Responsible for evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of patients in need of routine or urgent medical attention
- Usage of daily medical equipment including but not limited to: EKGs, defibrillators, oxygen, and other equipment needs for medical attention
- Coordinate and communicate with emergency response and local hospitals to establish procedures for medical needs
- Coordinate and facilitate patient transfers to medical facilities
- Conduct onsite drug and alcohol testing as needed
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Active Michigan Paramedic license
- High school or GED equivalent
- Efficient and effective communication is oral, written, and professional manners
- Efficient usage of Microsoft-based applications
