Looking for an Estimator with minimum 3 years of experience in construction. Ideally, this candidate will have knowledge of the roofing industry. This is an opportunity for a qualified candidate to work for an established roofing company in the Pompano area with over 80 years of success. This is a dynamic company, with projects across different residential and commercial projects.
The Estimator will:
- Prepare material and labor estimates
- Use computer software programs to create blueprints
- Work with account managers to review estimate packages
- Finalize pricing and create formal written proposals to prospective clients
- Make job site visits and take photos of projects
- Prepare support documentation for presentations
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma
- A minimum of 3 years in similar position or sales
- Proficient in computer, mathematical, and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in commercial and residential roofing
- Must have valid driver's license
- Have an understanding of construction blueprints
