A client in Indianapolis is looking for a Community Manager to join their team.
The responsibilities of the Community Manager include:
- Representing the company in a professional and positive manner
- Supervising staff and managing the property
- Inspecting property and grounds on a daily basis and coordinating for any potential services needed
- Ensuring rents are collected and invoices processed in timely fashion
- Coordinating on-site activities and marketing material
- Participating in annual budgeting process and monthly financial reviews
- Coaching and training leasing staff
- Hosting monthly and quarterly team meetings to discuss objectives
- Maintaining contact with vendors/contractors/maintenance staff concerning work scheduling, billings, and relations
- Working with HR for recruiting, training and onboarding of new hires
- Resolving tenant complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
- Monitoring progress on community work orders
- Maintaining tenant and customer satisfaction
Requirements
The minimum requirements include:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in property management role and 1 year of experience in supervisory role
- Customer-focused mentality
- Effective communication skills and ability to lead/train others
- Experience with developing marketing strategies
- Understanding of income statements, budgets, accounting and variance analysis reports
