Job Description

Gatesource HR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Reliability Engineer to join our client's dynamic team.   • Conduct regular assessments of asset conditions and initiate necessary actions to maintain optimal performance.
  • Gather and analyze operational data daily, providing clear guidelines for repairs in collaboration with the service team.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and offer hands-on support during system installations at customer sites.
  • Participate in evaluations to determine asset maintenance needs and ensure timely interventions.
  • Oversee equipment performance, assess downtime records, and identify failure patterns to inform maintenance strategies.
  • Work closely with the diagnostics programming team, offering feedback to enhance system reliability.
  • Assist in conducting root cause analyses of failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support the planning and execution of projects aimed at enhancing system reliability.
  • Contribute to life cycle costing analyses to inform financial decisions, such as determining whether to repair or replace assets approaching end-of-life.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in mobile or fixed plant maintenance.
  • Proficiency in various monitoring techniques to assess equipment health.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance strategies and principles.
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis, lubrication, and oil analysis.
  • Knowledge of asset management strategies to optimize equipment performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America and Mexico as required.
