We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with experience in Niobium / Tantalum to lead field-based extraction and processing operations in a remote alluvial environment.
This role requires strong operational leadership in river or alluvial mining, gravity-based mineral separation, and responsible management of sensitive supply chains. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in remote site execution, water and environmental controls, and community-facing operational governance.

Lead the execution and day-to-day management of alluvial coltan mining operations targeting niobium and tantalum-bearing concentrates.

Oversee field extraction activities in river-based or alluvial deposit environments.

Manage mineral processing and concentration systems, including:

Gravity separation circuits

Magnetic separation equipment

Electrostatic separation technologies

Direct water management systems to ensure operational continuity, environmental compliance, and responsible resource use.

Ensure safe, efficient operation in remote locations with limited logistics, infrastructure, and supply support.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mining, processing, maintenance, security, and HSE functions.

Maintain strong community interface practices, including local engagement, workforce integration, and operational transparency.

Ensure compliance with international standards for strategic and sensitive mineral supply chains, including traceability and responsible sourcing frameworks.

Drive continuous improvement in recovery rates, concentrate quality, and field operational efficiency.
Requirements

Documented experience in alluvial or river-based mining operations, preferably involving heavy mineral sands or coltan-bearing deposits.

Proven expertise operating and managing; Gravity separation systems, Magnetic separation circuits, Electrostatic mineral separation technologies

Strong track record working in remote, infrastructure-limited environments with complex logistical challenges.

Demonstrated capability in large-scale water management and environmentally responsible site operations.

Experience managing community-facing operational relationships and stakeholder engagement.

Understanding of compliance requirements for strategic and sensitive mineral supply chains, including responsible sourcing and traceability expectations.
