Parts and Services Sales Representative (Sales /Heavy Equipment / English) - Caribbean



Job Description

GateSource HR is partnering with a well-established company with an international footprint. The company is a leading distributor of premium brands of machinery and equipment, and supports its clients in a variety of markets across the Caribbean region.

Our client is looking for a Parts and Sales Service Representative to promote and sell the company's products and services by engaging with customers directly at their job sites. Identify customer needs, propose solutions based on the company's offerings, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve the desired profitability.

Specific Responsibilities
  1. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company's product portfolio and any updates or changes.
  2. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits and proactive problem-solving to meet their needs promptly.
  3. Sales Goals: Achieve 100% of monthly sales targets, including sales budget, customer visits, new customer registrations, closing rates, and equipment inspections.
  4. Promotion: Actively promote the company's products and services to existing and potential customers.
  5. Customer Information: Keep customer information current in the company's designated system.
  6. Coverage Strategy: Implement the company's coverage strategy in your assigned region, ensuring all clients and industries are adequately served.
  7. Billing and Payments: Ensure timely billing for delivered products and services, and follow up on payment agreements. Monitor overdue payments and ensure full collection before making any further sales on a cash-only basis for those clients.
  8. Quotation Follow-Up: Regularly follow up on quotations sent to customers.
  9. Coordination: Work with other departments to deliver products and services on time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. HSEQ Functions: Perform duties as outlined in the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) procedures.
  11. HSEQ Participation: Actively participate in activities related to the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ Management System.
  12. Additional Duties: Carry out any other duties relevant to the position.
  13. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, standards, procedures, plans, and regulations.


  • Professional degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Over 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in a heavy machinery dealership.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
