We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our mining and processing operations. If you are a seasoned mining engineer with a strong background in underground mining, equipment maintenance, community relations, plant management, and possess expertise in hydro metallurgy and exploitation geology, we encourage you to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily mining and processing activities, with a deeper focus on the mine, ensuring efficient resource extraction and processing.
- Apply your extensive knowledge of base metals, particularly Copper, Lead, Zinc, etc., to optimize production and quality.
- Utilize your background in underground mining to enhance mining operations, safety, and equipment maintenance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community, demonstrating a commitment to responsible mining practices.
- Oversee the processing plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Apply your expertise in hydro metallurgy and exploitation geology to optimize processes.
- Be actively involved in operations, providing practical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Advanced English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mine Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in base metals mining operations.
- Extensive experience in underground mining, equipment maintenance, community relations, plant management, hydro metallurgy, and exploitation geology.
- Hands-on leadership style and the ability to adapt to a challenging high-altitude environment.
