Job Description

Join a leading property and facility management company based in the vibrant Caribbean. We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of buildings, grounds, and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and safe facility operations, implement policies and procedures for compliance with local codes and regulations, manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, and coordinate with other departments to meet the organization's needs. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will provide quotations and services for repairs and maintenance to third-party properties, both residential and commercial, and assist in-house property and strata managers in caring for various properties and assets.

Requirements

The minimum requirements include: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience, with an excellent understanding of facility operating systems
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, and knowledge of project management, budgeting, and vendor management
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Financial literacy and familiarity with the financial reporting needs of a small business and the various facilities managed by the company
