A client in Thousand Oaks is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team and oversee maintenance for approximately 354 units. The Maintenance Supervisor would be on-site at a 2-story walk-up (multi-family) apartment community.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- Leading a team of Maintenance Technicians and Porters in terms of training and motivating
- Responsible for ensuring the pristine condition of the community
- Following safety standards
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
- Perform and report on property inspections
- Ensure timely completion of work orders and recording in Yardi
Requirements
The requirements of this position include:
- 5 years minimum experience of technical work experience in areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, etc.
- 5 years of experience in a Supervisory or Lead Maintenance role preferred
- Leadership and Communication skills
- Previous experience in residential property management, multi-family, engineering or construction
- Previous experience with annual budget preparation
- Previous experience with interior/exterior renovations
- Previous experience with Yardi
