We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our client at their brand-new luxury community, located in Santa Clarita.
The Maintenance Supervisor would be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations for approximately 228 units.
The Maintenance Supervisor would be responsible of leading a team of Maintenance Technicians and Porters in terms of training, motivating and providing guidance where necessary. The physical condition of the community is a sole responsibility of the Maintenance team.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- Leading a team of Maintenance Technicians and Porters in terms of training and motivating
- Keeping the physical condition of the community in pristine condition
- Work on and report on property inspections
- Complete timely work-order requests and make accurate record in Yardi
Requirements
The requirements for this position include:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry or construction, etc.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential property management environment preferred
- Leadership and Communication Skills
- Previous experience in residential property management, engineering, hotel maintenance or construction
- Previous experience with preparation of annual budgets
- Previous experience with Yardi
