An established and highly successful construction-engineering services firm based in Plano, TX, is hiring for an on-site HR Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator will directly report to the Director of Human Resources and will help facilitate the human resources processes for this location.  Some of these responsibilities include:
  • Providing customer service functions by answering employee requests/questions
  • Assisting with new employee paperwork, including background checks, I-9 files, Candidate Assessments, education verification, employment verification, etc.
  • Scheduling meeting and interviews as requested by the Director of HR
  • Participating in recruiting at local and regional career fairs
  • Making copies, processing mail, filing, scanning and emailing documents and performing other clerical functions
  • Aiding the process of terminations
  • Preparing the performance review process

The minimum education/experience requirements for this position include: 
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field 
  • At least two years of relevant experience
  • SHRM-CP credential is a plus

Required skills for this position include:
  • proficient with Google Drive, MS Office Suite or related software
  • proficient with HRIS software, NetSuite preferred
  • organization and meticulous attention to detail
  • time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines
  • ability to function well in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
