We are currently looking for an experienced Fiancial Analyst to join an industry leading team that has been at the forefront of Mining technology for over 80 years.
This position is an onsite position that offers flexibility in scheduling, and competitive benefits package. Looking for candidates with strong budgeting and forecasting experience. The primary focus will be on forecasting, data management, and leading new projects that to enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities.
Candidates should feel comfortable making recommendations and perform new system implementations as needed. This position will work closely with the CFO and should be able to independently.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years’ experience with financial analyses or management accounting in a mining, construction or heavy equipment environment
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel
- Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
- Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process
- Cost analysis/Cost Accounting knowledge good to have
- Preferred experience with Sage accounting software—other accounting software systems considered
- Preferred DataRails or similar excel centric data base system
- Great communication skills and able to work independently
