Job Description

GateSource HR is partnering with a company in Latin America that is seeking an experienced LATAM Finance Manager to lead and oversee regional financial operations.

Job Purpose

The LATAM Finance Manager will provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of financial accounting, tax, capital, and liquidity across Latin America. This role ensures that all regional entities comply with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as industry best practices, with a strong focus on financial governance and risk prevention.

The role will also be responsible for leading and executing short- and long-term operational and financial strategies, establishing policies that support company culture and vision, and overseeing day-to-day operations and organizational change across the region.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and standardize financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance frameworks across all LATAM entities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and transparency.

  • Ensure full compliance with local tax, labor, financial, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Deliver strategic financial insights through forward-looking budgets, forecasts, cash flow analysis, and risk assessments to support senior leadership decision-making.

  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation support, and post-acquisition integration activities for current and future M&A initiatives.

  • Drive margin optimization through improved cost management, capital allocation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Partner with regional leadership to strengthen financial governance, support growth initiatives, and enhance overall business performance.

  • Support regional operations through periodic travel across LATAM (approximately 5–6 trips per year).


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus).

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish or Portuguese required; trilingual capabilities are a strong advantage).

  • Proven experience working within the insurance, reinsurance, or insurance brokerage sector.

  • Strong background in multi-entity and multi-country financial management within Latin America.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial standardization, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks.

  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally approximately 5–6 times per year.
