We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client’s team and support the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment across a variety of industries, including construction and infrastructure.
In this role, you will work on premium heavy equipment brands and play a key part in ensuring maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, generators, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Carry out on-site repairs and emergency breakdown response
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Coordinate with parts teams to ensure timely repairs
- Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Technical diploma or certification in Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Hands-on experience with premium equipment brands (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
- Problem-solving mindset and strong technical skills
- Customer-oriented attitude and good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
