We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Exploration Geologist to support our client’s lithium exploration projects in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have experience in pegmatite-hosted lithium systems and a strong understanding of early-stage to advanced-stage exploration in hard rock environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field mapping, sampling, core logging, and structural interpretation of lithium-bearing pegmatites.
- Collaborate with geoscience and technical teams to develop drill targets and optimize exploration programs.
- Assist in managing contractors and exploration logistics in remote field conditions.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
- Contribute to resource estimation processes and technical reporting under international standards (NI 43-101 or JORC).
- Ensure compliance with local environmental, safety, and permitting regulations.
- Engage with local stakeholders and maintain high standards of responsible exploration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hard rock exploration, with a strong focus on lithium (spodumene-rich pegmatites).
- Experience with GIS, Leapfrog, and geological modeling software.
- Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.
- Strong understanding of ESG principles and community engagement.
