Job Description

A growing professional services firm, offering assurance, tax and advisory services in in need of an EXPERIENCED SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE to join their team in Cleveland, Ohio. This company is an independent and entrepreneurial accounting firm that delivers quality services to private businesses, nationwide public companies, high-net-worth individuals, non-profit organizations and entrepreneurs/individuals.

This is an on-site role.

The Senior Tax Associate will report to the Tax Manager.

The responsibilities of the Senior Tax Associate include, but are not limited to:

Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
Building and maintaining relationships with clients
Providing guidance and insight to junior associates
Assisting with federal and state tax audits
Performing tax research
Gathering supporting financial statements/documents

Requirements

The minimum requirements for this position are as follows:

2-5 years working in a public accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Master's Degree a plus
CPA highly preferred
Experience with Tax Software, including Quickbooks
Attention to detail
