GateSource HR Mining and Metals division is seeking an experienced Executive Search Consultant to join our dynamic team. With a focus on the North American market, we are dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with our clients in the ever-evolving mining and metals sector.

As an Executive Search Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and recruiting mining professionals for key management and leadership positions within the mining and metals industry. The role also entails client-facing interactions, business development activities, client portfolio development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network and engage with key stakeholders in the industry to understand their talent recruitment challenges and propose solutions
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential candidates for executive positions within the mining and metals sector on an international scale.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, executives, and professionals to expand our network and enhance our market presence, in particular in the US and Canada.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs, provide strategic insights, and deliver top-notch executive search services.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify and attract high-caliber candidates, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
  • Lead the end-to-end executive search process, from initial client consultation to candidate onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments and intelligence to provide valuable insights to clients.


  • Proven experience as an Executive Search Consultant within the mining and metals industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the international market dynamics and trends in the mining and metals sector.
  • Strong network within the industry, with a track record of successfully placing executives in key roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or Engineering; MBA is a plus.


Remote work schedule is an option, base salary to be agreed dependent on experience + strong commission plan.
