RESPONSIBILITIES

As an energy tester, you will have the opportunity to:

Inspect houses to verify that energy performance meets the code requirements (local, states and national)
Work on Ground up constructions sites
Inspect homes under construction
Verify policies and make sure goals are being met

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of home building or construction inspection experience

Preferable but not required

HERS certification

IRC Certification

Energy Certification
