Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Controller to join our Construction team. Ideally, you will have a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, along with managerial expertise within a construction firm. You must also be able to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment.  

Responsibilities: 
Supervise all financial aspects of any ongoing projects 
Work with project managers to perform financial data analysis 
Make sure that projects don't exceed budget 
Ensure audits run smoothly with proper documentation

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of 940 taxes 
  • Solid understanding of Sage 300
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Related Field  
  • Progressive accounting and finance experience, with managerial roles
  • Profound knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Effective management of multiple priorities within a dynamic environment


      Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or CMA designation 
  • Familiarity with Lien Waving Rights 
  • Previous experience as an accountant in the construction industry
