Job Description

A property management company in Salt Lake City is looking to add a mid-level to senior-level Commercial Property Manager to their team.


This position would be fully on-site, with 1/2 of the week being required to tend to the communities.


The Commercial Property Manager would be responsible for:

  • managing properties to ensure high value
  • maintaining current tenant relationships and marketing vacant space within the portfolio to prospective tenants
  • handling all aspects of current and prospective tenant leases
  • managing relationships with vendors
  • assisting the CFO with reconciliations
  • contracting with maintenance on operating and repair expenses
  • conducting inspections on the properties to ensure the property is functioning/performing at top level
  • understanding and applying financial reports to maximize income and overall operations


Requirements

The minimum responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with an emphasis in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate or similar field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience; 5-7 years ideal
  • Experience with Entrata or Yardi Breeze Premiere required
  • Excellent written/oral skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-start
  • Ability to manage relationships with vendors, tenants, stakeholders, fellow employees and supervisors
  • High level of motivation
