GateSource HR is seeking a Chief Development Officer with experience in the Mining industry to lead all pre-operational and pre-investment workstreams across the Northen region south
america mining portfolio.
This executive role is responsible for portfolio prioritization, feasibility leadership, and capital readiness, working closely with shareholders and the Board to define long-term development strategy before projects move into execution.

Lead strategic and economic evaluation of a critical minerals portfolio including Nickel, Cobalt, Vanadium, Gallium, Coltan, and REEs.

Build and manage a prioritized investment pipeline using a structured portfolio screening framework.

Own all Scoping, PFS, FS, and strategic assessments, managing international technical and consulting advisors.

Deliver a 10-year strategic master plan covering exploration, processing build-out, and downstream positioning.

Develop investor-ready financial models and support early-stage funding and partnership discussions.

Manage government, regulatory, ESG, and geopolitical risk considerations in the Northen region south

Act as the senior mining strategy authority at Board and shareholder level.
Requirements

12+ years in mining strategy, consulting, or corporate development within the resources sector.

Proven leadership of scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies for large-scale projects.

Mandatory experience in Latin America.

Strong understanding of battery and technology-driven minerals markets and investment decision frameworks.
