We're on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead their business line in the Caribbean region.
Primary Responsibilities
• Devise and implement a strategic sales blueprint aimed at broadening our clientele and expanding the company's market presence.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with both prospective and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met consistently.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Sales representatives, overseeing and evaluating their performance.
• Identify any knowledge deficiencies within the team and create actionable plans for enhancement.
• Uphold company quotas by conducting regular performance reviews with the sales and operations team to establish goals and track progress.
• Conduct thorough industry research to craft effective sales solutions.
• Utilize market data analysis to formulate sales tactics and set clear product objectives for targeted marketing efforts.
• Craft product positioning and messaging strategies that set our company apart in key market segments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization, particularly in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), to align product offerings and service capabilities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of seven years of experience in sales management within the retail machinery industry or heavy automotive sector.
• Demonstrated track record of success throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from strategic planning to deal closure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Proven history of driving sales growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in leading sales or marketing teams.
• Proficiency in negotiation and networking, with a keen ability to build fruitful professional relationships.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
