A client, located in Woodland Hills/Los Angeles, California, is in search of an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is a full-service tax and advisory firm, focused on providing their clients with professionalism, responsiveness and quality advice and expertise.
This position will be hybrid, with a few days in-office and a few days at home.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
- maintaining the firm's accounting records
- tracking expenses, budgets, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings
- preparing journal entries, ledgers, balance sheets and financial statements
- assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing
- helping the firm improve efficiency of accounting processes and software
Requirements
The minimum requirements are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience working in Public Accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written communication)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
