Accounting Manager (Accounting//McLean/VA)

Join one of Virginia's largest privately-owned developers as an Accounting Manager, where you'll oversee key accounting functions, ensuring financial excellence. Your role is to:

Manage AP/AR and GL.

Elevate the firm’s practices by identifying areas for improvement.

Analyze financial statements and ensure their accuracy.

Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis.

Nurture your team, fostering growth and strong relationships.

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure year-end success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
  
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP.
  
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
