Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth in the Caribbean. This role will focus on identifying new opportunities, cultivating executive-level relationships, and managing the full sales cycle for tailored power solutions. The position is key to advancing strategic initiatives and forming long-term partnerships that reinforce the company’s reputation for reliability, flexibility, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and capture new business opportunities in core sectors (utilities, oil & gas, mining, industrial manufacturing).

  • Develop and implement regional commercial strategies aligned with growth targets.

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.

  • Lead opportunities through the complete sales process, from prospecting to contract execution.

  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and finance teams to craft client-specific proposals.

  • Monitor energy market trends, including thermal and renewable solutions.

  • Deliver impactful presentations and proposals in both English and Spanish.

  • Ensure CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) are consistently updated with accurate data.

  • Apply a consultative sales approach to align client needs with customized energy offerings.


Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • 10+ years of experience in energy sales or energy-related projects/solutions.
  • Strong client network and established relationships with key market players.
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and adept in consultative selling.
  • Ability to manage the sales cycle effectively, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Skilled in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and professional business correspondence (in both languages).
  • Proven ability to develop, secure approval for, and execute sales strategies and budgets.
  • Familiarity with both thermal and renewable energy markets.
