Key Responsibilities
- 
Lead and oversee Engineering Services capital projects related to the Production Division. 
- 
Supervise and review new installations and modifications to civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. 
- 
Prepare, update, and monitor technical standards for electrical, mechanical, control, and instrumentation systems in the generation network. 
- 
Develop scopes of work, design specifications, and detailed engineering plans to support construction activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s project management processes. 
- 
Enforce company safety procedures and standards across all assigned projects, for both employees and contractors. 
- 
Provide technical leadership in the Production area and general engineering support to other departments. Deliver occasional internal training sessions for staff. 
- 
Actively participate in the engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of production systems. Provide on-call support and assist the Production Division as needed. 
- 
Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and consultants from the Production and Transmission & Distribution Divisions. 
- 
Guide and support team members in completing engineering and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. 
- 
Perform other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in plant engineering projects within the power utility sector.
- Registered Professional Engineer or working toward recognized professional accreditation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentations.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
