GateSource HR is partnering with a key client in Mexico to hire a Sales Manager Engineer to support their continued growth and strengthen their commercial activities in the plastics sector across the region. We’re seeking a motivated professional with solid experience in plastic commodities and technical sales.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach prospective clients throughout Mexico

Uncover new business opportunities and expand the product portfolio

Conduct client visits and help open untapped markets within the country

Design and implement strategic sales plans

Manage and grow existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new leads

Build strong connections with key decision-makers

Lead negotiations and close deals that align with profitability and client satisfaction goals

Work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service

Track and analyze sales performance to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales and trading, preferably in the plastics or chemical industry
- Proven ability to develop new markets, set pricing strategies aligned with company guidelines, and analyze market trends
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and collaborative mindset
- Intermediate to advanced English is required
