Job Description

GateSource HR is partnering with a key client in Mexico to hire a Sales Manager Engineer to support their continued growth and strengthen their commercial activities in the plastics sector across the region. We’re seeking a motivated professional with solid experience in plastic commodities and technical sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach prospective clients throughout Mexico

  • Uncover new business opportunities and expand the product portfolio

  • Conduct client visits and help open untapped markets within the country

  • Design and implement strategic sales plans

  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new leads

  • Build strong connections with key decision-makers

  • Lead negotiations and close deals that align with profitability and client satisfaction goals

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service

  • Track and analyze sales performance to drive continuous improvement


Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales and trading, preferably in the plastics or chemical industry
  • Proven ability to develop new markets, set pricing strategies aligned with company guidelines, and analyze market trends
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven and collaborative mindset
  • Intermediate to advanced English is required
