Our client is currently seeking a Country Exploration Manager to join the senior leadership team. This individual will take the lead on all technical, geological, and exploration initiatives.

Develop and lead the company’s exploration strategy.

Pinpoint exploration targets aligned with the corporate vision and support acquisition discussions.

Assess and evaluate opportunities for exploration, acquisition, and development.

Design and execute a robust exploration program, including budgeting.

Directly manage and support local geological and field teams.

Deliver exploration objectives within the set budget and timelines.

Actively contribute to shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction.

Collaborate with external advisors and business stakeholders to drive exploration success and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field

10 years of progressive experience as a Senior Geologist or Exploration Manager, preferably within the critical minerals sector.

Hands-on experience in South American exploration and stakeholder engagement, including work with local teams, contractors, government entities, and communities.

Professional fluency in English and Portuguese is essential; Spanish proficiency is considered an asset.
