A growing automotive organization is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Truck Sales Representative to join its commercial team. This role is responsible for managing the full sales process, from prospecting and customer engagement to delivery coordination and after-sales support.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, relationship-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales of Trucks & Related Products
- Conduct professional sales conversations with customers
- Present trucks and related products to prospective clients
- Provide product information and tailored sales advice
- Advise customers on additional products and services
- Prepare and follow up on quotations
- Coordinate and monitor the vehicle delivery process
Customer Relationship Management
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Generate, manage, and follow up on sales leads
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
After-Sales Service
- Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally
- Gather customer feedback to support service improvement initiatives
Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare sales quotations and invoices
- Support financing documentation where applicable
- Maintain accurate customer data in CRM systems
- Prepare customer visit and activity reports
- Maintain organized sales files and order documentation
Marketing & Market Awareness
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Support promotional, sales, and marketing activities
- Contribute ideas to stimulate sales growth and customer engagement
Business Development Support
- Assist in developing departmental sales plans
- Support budgeting and sales forecasting activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the sales department
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Technical level education or equivalent
- Commercial background; automotive industry experience is preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar sales role
