We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to support the development of a luxury hotel and resort project in the Caribbean. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of all site measurements, layouts, elevations, and construction positioning throughout the project lifecycle.
Working within a challenging tropical and coastal environment, the Surveyor will collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and project management teams to ensure precise execution of infrastructure and structural works.
Key Responsibilities
Site Surveying & Setting Out
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for the project site.

Perform accurate site setting out for:
- Buildings and foundations
- Roads and infrastructure
- Drainage systems
- Utilities and grading works
- Buildings and foundations
- Verify construction alignment, elevations, and coordinates against approved drawings and specifications.
Data Collection & Mapping
- Prepare and maintain survey records, reports, maps, and site documentation.
- Process field data and produce accurate survey drawings and models.
- Support engineering and construction teams with updated site measurements and as-built information.
Construction Support
- Work closely with civil engineers and contractors to ensure proper execution of works.
- Monitor site movement, levels, and earthworks progression.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between design plans and on-site conditions.
Equipment & Technology

Operate and maintain surveying equipment including:
- Total Stations
- GPS/GNSS systems
- Levels
- Drones (preferred)
- Total Stations
- Utilize surveying and drafting software to prepare technical outputs and reports.
Environmental & Site Conditions
- Support erosion monitoring and terrain assessment activities.
- Adapt surveying operations to challenging tropical weather and remote-site conditions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional Surveyor certification or license is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in land or construction surveying.
- Previous experience on:
- Hospitality developments
- Infrastructure projects
- Island or remote construction sites
